Mumbai Terror Attack on Social Media!

Twitter is shouting incessantly:

Posts like these are just not ending on twitter, they started off just after the blasts and shootouts began in Mumbai last night.

People, from across the globe, including business leaders like Guy Kawasaki, responded and participated, in updating and getting updated on ‘second-by-second situation in Mumbai.

If this was not enough: Within a few minutes a new page on Mumbai Terror attack was created on Wikipedia, with almost live feed and collaboration, and an embedded google map to display locations of impact.

Google Maps, actually shows the Mumbai map with annotations of the terror struck locations.

While all these twitter posts and blogs help the relatives and friends of people who are stuck, in terms of getting to know real time and actual situation, it is also being speculated that the terrorists are also using twitter to understand and evaluate the situation in Mumbai.

There are Twitter profiles without name, which seem to have been created overnight, and ask about the situation in Mumbai- could this profile be of a terrorist ?
